Testing:

Samples can be taken in the privacy of your own home and sent off to the appropriate laboratory for testing. The results will then be forwarded on to your practitioner. All tests carry an additional fee. However, where possible you will be referred to your GP for tests to minimise your treatment cost. Some tests may be performed at The Doctor’s Laboratory based on Wimpole Street, London.

Food allergy/intolerance testing

If you suspect that you suffer from a food allergy or intolerance you may wish to have a blood test to determine the offending foods. Food intolerances in particular can be difficult to pinpoint, as symptoms may manifest several days after ingestion. The most accurate form of testing is a blood test and tests vary in price depending on how many foods you choose to have tested. Clinic fees are additional.

Stool analysis

Stool analysis is a valuable tool to help to pinpoint gut flora (bacterial) imbalances including Candida Albicans. Tests can also assess gut permeability (leaky gut), and check for parasites, Helicobacter pylori, and more.

Blood/saliva/urine tests

Available for assessing cardiovascular health, blood glucose levels, thyroid function, and checking reproductive and stress hormone levels, amongst many others.
