Magnesium plays a key role in over 300 enzymatic reactions in your body - yet many of us just aren’t getting enough.
But while this magical mineral is a true essential, not all supplements are the same. Our unique formula contains three different types of natural magnesium, blended together to create one uniquely powerful formula.

Why you’ll love it
“It’s so rare to find a supplement that ticks all the boxes when it comes to quantity (dosage) and quality of ingredients for pregnancy’s nutrition needs. So, I’m always very happy to recommend Inessa’s Pregnancy Multinutrients to all my pregnant clients. I particularly like that Inessa contains choline, a nutrient which is just as important as folate for neurodevelopment of baby. Other supplements that I have recommended from the Inessa range are Advanced Omega 3 and Inessa Magnesium.”

“I specialise in corporate, sports & fitness nutrition. As someone who has an autoimmune condition, I’ve used Inessa's Biosoothe, Magnesium, and Advanced Biotic Complex supplements. I noticed the difference within few days of taking these. What I love about the products is that they of high quality, relevant doses and also their Advanced Multivitamin is certified with Informed Sport. As a registered sports nutritionist, this is very important to my athletes.”

If you’re unsure about whether you should take magnesium, please talk to your health care provider.
Magnesium may interact with certain medicines. If you are taking prescribed medication, you should always check with your doctor first and read the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications.
Thought nutritional deficiencies were a thing of the past here in the well-fed West? Not so, according to recent studies. Vitamin D tops our most-wanted nutrient list, but another culprit following closely on its heels is magnesium.
Magnesium is found in brown rice, green leafy vegetables and dark chocolate, yet some 70% of us simply aren’t getting enough of this essential mineral. And that’s bad news, when you realise that magnesium plays a vital role in more than 300 different enzymatic reactions in the body each day.
Inessa Magnesium can help you redress the balance. It contains three powerful forms of magnesium specifically chosen not just for their high bioavailability, but because they each have their own specific benefits for the body. They include:
Aquamin Marine Magnesium - a natural magnesium made from purified seawater, ethically sourced from pristine Atlantic waters.
Magnesium Bisglycinate - because this magnesium appears in its superior chelated form, it’s protected from the phytates (compounds found in cereals) that can hamper its absorption.
Magnesium Threonate - the most soothing form of magnesium you can find, and often chosen alongside the bisglycinate form, before bed.
Processed foods, alcohol, dark coloured fizzy drinks and stress can all deplete our levels of magnesium. But even if your diet is healthy and your lifestyle is relaxed, you may still be at risk.
Vegetables are now grown in soil so depleted that they can be less nutritious than they were 50 years ago. Even the fluoride in our drinking water can bind to magnesium, making it difficult for the body to absorb.
Taking a supplement can help support your dietary intake. But to address your depleted levels efficiently, you’ll need to take a form of magnesium your body can properly absorb. Step forward Inessa Magnesium. Containing not one but three forms of magnesium specifically chosen for high bioavailability, they pack a uniquely powerful punch.
“There are so many different types of magnesium you can take. But because they’re all so different in terms of bioavailability, some are much more effective than others. For example, magnesium oxide - a cheaper, commonly found form of magnesium in supplements - is actually quite poorly absorbed. To harness all of magnesium’s wonderful benefits it’s best to take it in a form your body can actually use well. That’s why it was so important to include all three types of magnesium we use in our blend. They all work in different ways, to offer a balancing complex for all-round wellbeing"

Frequently asked questions
Although our magnesium can be taken any time with food, if you are using it before bed, or to support exercise, take around thirty minutes before you hope to sleep or exercise.
No, magnesium will not cause drowsiness if you take it during the day. Magnesium works to support your energy levels and psychological function during the day and can be taken in the evening before sleep.
Inessa Magnesium is less likely to cause gastrointestinal upset than other magnesium products, as we use chelated forms that are more gentle on the gut. If you’re at all concerned, or have a particularly sensitive stomach, we would recommend you start taking just one capsule per day instead of two.
Unless you have a medical condition that means you should not take magnesium, Inessa Magnesium is safe to take with other products that also contain magnesium. However, it’s best to be cautious - if you take in too much of this mineral through a variety of products, you could get a tummy upset.
Take one to three capsules per day with food and a glass of water, or as directed by a healthcare professional. If you have not taken magnesium before or have a sensitive gut, we recommend starting with just one capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Inessa Magnesium is deemed safe for most people but if you have a medical condition or are taking prescribed medication, you should always check with your doctor before taking supplements and read the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications. Food supplements should not replace a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
