Every ingredient in our Advanced Daily Multivitamin pulls its weight. So here’s what we leave out, and why.

Iron and copper

An excess amount of iron or copper can build up in the body.

Iron or copper excess can contribute to chronic health problems.

Potassium, calcium, magnesium

Impossible to fit amounts required into a single tablet. Most multivitamins can contain meaningless, token amounts to make them look more complete

Recommended by experts

“It’s important to know what’s in your supplements when you buy them, most athletes are very cautious about using supplements unless they have received some sort of accreditation. I take Inessa Multivitamin which has been tested by Informed Sport and has these credentials.”

"In clinic, I routinely recommend Inessa's Multivitamin, Omega 3, Biotic Complex and Immunity Complex. My elderly mother loves taking them too and swears they keep her fit - they're that good!"

These are actually like magic

I am a 49 year old menopausal woman, suffering with all the usual complaints, anxiety, sleep issues, aching joints etc. I've been taking the multivitamins for just over a month now and there have been some real subtle changes to my symptoms. I feel more awake and energetic, I am sleeping really well at night time and don't feel so exhausted in the day. Somehow my joints don't feel so achy, it's not such a struggle to get out of bed and I'm not sure if it's because of the vitamins, or because I'm getting enough sleep but I have felt less anxious this month than I have in a very long time. I will be placing another order for these as I do not want to ever run out!

Lifesaver

I started taking Inessa Advanced Multivitamin back in November 2019. A year and a half earlier I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and nothing really helped to get me better. Through a friend I got introduced to the lovely founder of Inessa. After talking to her she recommended the Advanced Daily Multivitamin together with the Advanced Omega and Advanced Daily Biotic. What can I say since then my health improved tremendously and I got my life back. No more relapses just constant improvement. So for me never again without them!

Life saver.

After being treated with antibiotics my digestive systems seamed to breakdown. In desperation tried Inessa multivitamins and mineral supplements also probiotics, they have virtually saved my life. Digestive system is a lot healthier. So grateful for all the help and advice from wonderful Inessa team.

Thank you Inessa

Than

A present for my friend

I got these vitamins as a present for my friend who would only use Inessa vitamins and nothing else. He does his researches properly so I believe these are the best.

Outstanding

I have been using Inessa Multivitamins for a while now, and I love it! My body gets used to medications quickly and after a while, I stopped seeing an impact but it's different with Inessa Multivitamins.

Inessa Advanced Daily Multivitamin is perfect if…

You want best health, not better health.

You want to feel great now, as well as in the future.

You’re looking to fill nutritional gaps in your already healthy daily diet.

You have a limited or restricted diet, or travel frequently.

You want clinically significant doses, without taking multiple products.

May not be suitable

We recommend using an additional iron supplement alongside our Advanced Multivitamin until your GP confirms that your iron levels have reached a satisfactory level. We don’t include iron in our Advanced Multivitamin as taking the mineral to excess over the long term could be harmful to those without a deficiency.

Do not take our Advanced Multivitamin without the permission of your doctor. It contains vitamin K2 which can interfere with blood thinners.

It’s best to switch to our Pregnancy Multinutrient as our Advanced Multivitamin is not formulated for prenatal use. Our Pregnancy Multinutrient is ideal whether you’re trying conceive, are already pregnant or are breastfeeding.

If you are taking prescribed medication, you should always check with your doctor first and read the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications.

Our Advanced Multivitamin may not be the right product for you. Cramming optimal doses of 25 science-backed nutrients into just one tablet means that our multivitamin has a size that’s in line with larger vitamins such as Solgar VM2000.

How we compare

No unnecessary additives, fillers or chemicals

Optimal doses

Independent, clinician-led company

Self-funded company, so no compromise on quality

Every nutrient in methylated form

Highly bioavailable, premium ingredients

Uses unique manufacturing techniques to fit therapeutic doses into one tablet

Titanium dioxide, flavourings and colourings

Inadequate doses of many nutrients

Large corporate companies

Investors more focused on making deep profits than your health

Few or no methylated nutrients

Harder to absorb, cheaper ingredients

Uses current technology so not everything you need can be contained in one tablet

From the founder

"When I was running my clinical practice, I saw that none of the multivitamin products available contained a full spectrum of nutrients in bioavailable forms and at the clinically valid doses found in individual nutrient supplements. My clients would often buy multiple nutraceutical products to get a combination of the nutrients they wanted which was inconvenient and expensive.

It took over a year of discussions with the major UK labs - who repeatedly stated it was impossible to get everything into one tablet - before we eventually designed our own unique manufacturing process and made it happen. In doing so, we created the world’s most complete premium once-daily multivitamin, with a devoted following from all over the world."

Frequently asked questions

Yes, our Multivitamins are vegan-friendly and Vegan Society registered.

Inessa Advanced multivitamins are presented as their natural colour - the orange is caused by the natural colour of the vitamins contained within. We decided to give the tablet a clear coating as opposed to an opaque white or coloured one as these contain titanium dioxide which may be harmful to health.

We sometimes get enquiries about the strong smell. This is normal where products contain high doses of B-vitamins. Other multivitamin products which also contain high doses of these nutrients have the same distinctive scent. All we can say is if the smell does bother you, once the lid is back on the bottle, it's no longer an issue!

The B vitamin riboflavin present in multivitamin complexes may cause urine to temporarily change colour.

We recommend taking 1 tablet per day with breakfast. Do not take on an empty stomach if products containing B vitamins make you feel nauseous. You can take the multivitamin at lunchtime, but we advise that you do not take them later in the day as although our product does not contain stimulants, some individuals may be sensitive to certain nutrients. Do not exceed the recommended intake or use as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

If you are taking any medication, particularly blood-thinning medication, always check with your doctor or the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications.

We get asked about this frequently. Our multivitamin is designed to only include the best and most bioavailable forms of nutrients, yet we choose to use the ubiquinone form of CoQ10, when ubiquinol is thought to be more bioavailable. There is a real misconception about the two marketed forms of CoQ10.

Ubiquinone is actual CoQ10, a powerful antioxidant, which when used as a supplement has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, optimise energy, and promote muscle recovery amongst many other health benefits. A newer commercially available source called ‘Ubiquinol’ emerged in the mid-2000s and was marketed as a superior, more bioavailable source, with a raw ingredient price tag to match.

Ubiquinol and Ubiquinone both naturally exist in the body, and in fact, they transform between the two forms themselves, once ingested. So it makes no difference which form you take, because it’s going to be converted from whatever form you took, to the other. Important to know as well, is that outside of the body ubiquinol is molecularly highly unstable, and shortly after exposure to oxygen, it oxidises to ubiquinone. It’s also worth knowing that the majority of studies which show benefit, are based on use of Ubiquinone.
